The theme is Reflections and Night Sky (as always, open to interpretation)
- 6The competition is only open to current members of Lymm Photographic Society.
- Submit up to 3 digital images only.
- Composite images are allowed but only if all elements comprising the final image are solely the work of the member concerned.
- No AI elements are allowed.
- Each image MUST have a title (replacing the file name).
- Each image must be in sRGB mode.
- No authors name, text, words, time or date stamps or the like to be visible on the image itself (unless of course they are an original feature of the image – eg. a signpost in a street scene or landscape, or a sign above a shop).
- Images must be sized as follows:
- Landscape/Horizontal format – no more than 1600 pixels on the long edge and no more than1200 pixels on the short edge
- Portrait/Vertical format – no more than 1200 pixels on the long edge
- Square format – no more than 1200 pixels both edges
- If you use a Mac either zip the files and send the zipped folder to Emanuele or use WeTransfer. If you send individual images your email system strips out the title.
Notes:
- Preference is for images to be submitted by WeTransfer
- If you have any trouble sizing your images send them ‘unsized’ to Emanuele by WeTransfer BUT these will need to be with him at least 48 hours before the deadline.
- He will acknowledge receipt of all entries within 24 hours. (NB. If you do not receive such acknowledgement please contact him soonest.)
- You can size the images smaller than the above rules dictate but they will then appear smaller on screen.
Closing date for entries: Midnight, Sunday 7th December 2026 (but sooner is better).
